Lori Collins, Managing Principal

Lori Collins is one of those rare souls who can effortlessly help others see themselves and the world a bit differently – inevitably leading them to breakthroughs they would not otherwise discover. She does this for groups, teams and individuals in organizations around the world.

Specifically, Lori is a gifted business educator, facilitator and executive coach dedicated to inspiring authentic engagement between leaders and the people around them. Her approach, bringing skillful, conscious awareness to leaders’ interactions with self and others, has helped hundreds around the world expand their impact and influence. Her goal is to enlarge each leader’s personal power by helping them address the fears, challenges and isolation that accompany the mantle of senior leadership.

Prior to founding Artemis Leadership Group, Lori was a corporate manager and leadership development facilitator with General Motors’ cutting-edge Saturn Corporation. Her experience at Saturn gave her hands-on insight into the best that leadership cultivation could bring to bear in an organization – as well as where it fell short. When she talks about corporate culture and team development, she speaks from well-honed experience, not theory.

In 1996, Lori started Artemis in order to work with business leaders everywhere in fulfilling their greatest contribution to their organizations, their communities and the world. She’s worked toward this mission through Artemis, the Center for Creative Leadership Europe – where she worked for a number of years as the Manager of Custom Solutions – and in partnership with such prestigious business schools as Wharton School of Business (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland), and Duke Corporate Education (Durham, North Carolina).

In all, Lori’s expertise has taken her across five continents, serving diverse industries and sectors that include Silicon Valley high-techs, financial services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, consumer products, oil and gas, government, and health care. Through it all, clients consistently report that Lori’s passion, humor, and wisdom are contagious; her gift is in bringing people together to gain clarity in the midst of chaos, and to find solutions that seemed out of reach.

Lori earned her M.Ed. in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University (USA) and is a certified executive coach through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara (USA). She is certified and experienced in a variety of 360˚ assessments and psychometric instruments. When they’re not on the road, Lori and her husband Craig divide their time between Nashville, Tennessee, where the weather is good, and Brussels, Belgium, where the food is divine. She hopes one day to figure out which city of the world she enjoys most.
