Barbara provides leadership training, executive coaching, team facilitation, and custom design. Her clients in North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa have included EADS, Boston Consulting Group, Ageas Insurance, Barclays Bank, Sodexo, BASF, Skolkovo Business School, Mondi, Philips, and Kautex.
Barbara’s work includes being an Associate for the Center for Creative Leadership. Previously, she was Chief Executive Officer of VIMA International—The Leadership Group, working with high-technology clients around the world. She is the author of a business best-seller on teams and team learning and is regularly published and quoted on leadership and teams.
With a PhD in political science and Master of Arts in human relations from the University of Oklahoma, Barbara is adept at linking theory and practice. She adeptly explains the theoretical underpinning for sound business practice. She held faculty positions in business, communications and political science at the University of Alaska, Long Island University, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and the University of Maryland.
Barbara resides in Brussels and Washington, D.C. She has worked in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, South Africa, England, Scotland, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Estonia, and Russia.
