Marie-Caroline Schwering is a certified professional coach who specializes in coaching leaders, executives, and teams across a range of industries both multinational and international. She brings to her work a bi-cultural heritage (French and German), a broad experience of multicultural backgrounds, and an extensive experience and understanding of the dynamics of corporate life.
Her coaching approach with individuals involves taking the coaching client out of his/her comfort zone, usually their intellectual competence, into the area of emotional intelligence, allowing him/her to enhance their awareness of self and their impact on others. Marie-Caroline provides a platform for the individual to learn to deal with their emotions and use them as a strength rather than a weakness or threat. In the process the coaching client also develops skills for greater effectiveness at work and in their life. In her approach with teams, focus is laid on setting the conditions for the team to gain greater awareness of its current level of effectiveness and put in place its desired vision and strategies to make it a highly effective group.
She lives in Belgium, and has worked as a coach in Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, UK, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, and Chile. As an employee, she has lived in Belgium, France, and Austria. Marie-Caroline works in six languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish.
Marie-Caroline was a change management consultant with PwC Consulting. She focused on project communication, organization design, human resources processes and training. She also served as a human resources manager for Belgium, Austria, and Eastern Europe with Schlumberger, a multinational company in the oilfield services business. She holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the University Paris XII – France.
